Johnny Rodgers Releases Christmas Song Featuring Guest Artist Ben Taylor

Nationally acclaimed award winning singer/songwriter/pianist Johnny Rodgers celebrates the holiday season with the release of the Johnny Rodgers Band’s new Christmas recording Lord Let The Angels Sing. Destined to be a classic for the season, the song also features guest artist Ben Taylor (son of music icons Carly Simon and James Taylor). Produced by Richard Barone (of The Bongos) the single features the Johnny Rodgers Band: Brian Glassman on double bass, Danny Mallon on drums, Joe Ravo on guitar Available on the EP Bound Together, the recording will be available on iTunes, Amazon.com, CDFreedom.com and JohnnyRodgers.com. A winner in the 2008 Billboard Magazine World Song Contest (Home To Mendocino), Rodgers wrote the song in a flash of inspiration under the Christmas stars. Reflections, family, friends, hope, healing and glory to a newborn King, float atop the wondrous melody. The release coincides with Rodgers’ Broadway debut in Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning superstar Liza Minnelli’s new show at The Palace Theatre, December 2008. Rodgers has been featured and toured North and South America and Europe with Minnelli and her orchestra.
